Emily Jane McKee

Emily Jane McKee, 88, of Montgomery, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Watsontown Health and Rehab Center.

Born April 3, 1930 in Muncy, she was the only child of the late Joseph and Emily (Graft) Shelley. She married Robert O. McKee. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage before his death.

Emily was a 1948 graduate of Montgomery High School. She worked as a clerk and typist many years before retiring from Brodart, Williamsport.

Emily was a member of the former Christ Lutheran Church, Montgomery.

She loved country music and was fond of traveling to Nashville. Emily also enjoyed the company of her three cats.

Surviving are three children, Lucille McKee, of Montgomery, Robert McKee and his wife, Erica, of Austin, TX and Shelley Sorgen and her husband, David, of South Williamsport; three grandchildren, Laura, Christopher and Jennifer; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 3 p.m. with Kathy Burkhart, lay minister of Unityville United Methodist Church Charge, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Emily’s name be made to the SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
