Dale J. Maxwell

Dale J. Maxwell, 84, formerly of Levittown, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 peacefully at home with his daughter and son-in-law by his side.

Born July 5, 1934 in Rhodell, WV, he was a son of the late Noah J. and Evelyn E. (Ayers) Maxwell. He and his wife, the former Marylou Mosco, celebrated 61 years of marriage before her death Jun. 30, 2018.

Dale was a veteran of the Army, serving honorably during the Korean War, receiving a good conduct medal. He retired from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority, Levittown, where he was a licensed water and wastewater operator.

He was of Methodist faith.

Dale enjoyed being a scout leader, and involved the entire family when they were younger. He was proud to donate blood to the Red Cross to help others. Dale loved camping and visiting the Renaissance Fair.

He is survived by one daughter; one son; a sister, Dorothy Ann (Maxwell) Hinde; grandchildren; and numerous extended family.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one son and several brothers.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
