Shirley E. Fogelman

Shirley E. Fogelman, 74, of Muncy, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Rose View Center, Williamsport.

Born March 17, 1943 in Montgomery, she was a daughter of the late Orville P. and Mary Ellen (Kirkner) Cotner.  On September 28, 1962, she married William J. Fogelman Sr., who survives. Together they celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Shirley was a graduate of Montgomery High School.  She spent most of her early years raising and taking care of her family.  She also worked several years at Ward L. Myers Elementary School, Muncy, assisting as a library and computer aide.

Shirley was active with her antique farm and heritage club.  She also enjoyed reading, crocheting and attending auctions.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jessie Fogelman, of Muncy; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Ronald Bachle; two brothers, James and Wesley Cotner; and four grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Mia and Jessica.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, William J. Fogelman Jr.; one brother, David Cotner; and one sister, Susan Snell.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 26 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Glenn McCreary, officiating.

Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
