Paul Gadoury

Paul Gadoury, 57, of 145 VanHorn Blvd., Muncy, died suddenly Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born May 12, 1958 in Quebec, Canada, he was a son of Gabrielle (Lafontaine) Gadoury, of Burlington, NJ and the late Jean Paul Gadoury. On Feb. 10, 1986 he married the former Shelley Miller, who survives. Together they celebrated 29 years of marriage.

Paul was a 1978 graduate of Burlington City High School, NJ. He served honorably in the U. S. Army and Army National Guard for 21 years. Paul most recently worked for Glenn O. Hawbakers, Inc., where he was a diesel technician.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Muncy.

An excellent handy man, Paul was known around the house as “Mr. Fix It”.  He enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his family.  

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are two daughters, Chantal Gadoury, of Dover, DE and Carrine Gadoury, of Muncy; and seven siblings, John, Pierre, Alain and Rene Gadoury, Jocelyne Goodwell, Linda Schiffhauer and Steven Gadoury.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Serge Gadoury.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, where the memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., with his pastor, the Rev. Arlene Beechert, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers, and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Edward J. Smith Post 3428 VFW, 12 N. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756.
