Kathryn A. "Kathy" Myers

Kathryn A. “Kathy” Myers, 62, of Muncy, entered eternal life on June 2, 2015, following a courageous battle with multiple myeloma and plasma cell leukemia.

Kathy was born on May 21, 1953 to Harvey and Karen Myers.

Kathy was one in a million, a fact those who knew her were aware of long before she heard it from her doctor regarding her diagnosis. Known for her sense of humor, ease in conversation, and gentle heart, Kathy loved spending time with family and friends and was proud to have attended EVERY Muncy High School Alumni Banquet and reunion for the Class of ’71. In addition to reading Nicholas Sparks’ novels, she enjoyed knitting, staying current on the local buzz, humming birds, and a good yard sale. She had a strong aversion to cameras that could be used more than once and saying goodbye on the telephone.

She is survived by her son, Thomas and his wife Nichole; her three beautiful grandchildren, who she loved deeply, Owen, Liam and Mia; her mother, Karen; two sisters, Carol and Cindy; two brothers Crist and Andy; and loving and supportive in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. 

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Muncy Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to the Muncy Alumni Association, P.O. Box 243, Muncy, PA 17756
