Janet S. Lucas

Janet S. Lucas, 87, of Muncy, died Friday, October 2, 2015.

Born Janet L. Sharrow on December 18, 1927, in South Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Archie R. and Marion E. (Kopp) Sharrow.

She married Max E. Lucas, who preceded her in death November 28, 1975.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Kathy Lucas, of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Anne Lucas, of Midlothian, VA; four grandchilren, Eric Lucas, Brandon Lucas, Jonathan Lucas and Madeline Lucas; and two great-grandsons, Nelson and Ayden Lucas.

 In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, David Lucas.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10 at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery, with Chaplain David K. Fishel, Susquehanna Home Care and Hospice, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Janet's name be made to the Muncy Public Library, 108 S. Main St., Muncy, PA 17756.
