Janet A. Lucas

Janet A. Lucas, 84, of Muncy, died Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Williamsport Home.

Born August 25, 1931 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Blanche (Guyer) Anderson.  On October 13, 1950 she married J. Stanley Lucas Jr., who survives.  Together they celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son and daughter-in-law, John and Jane Lucas, of Muncy; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Louis Adams, of Allentown; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Arlene McHugh.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Janet’s name be made to either the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
