Edna E. Foust

Edna E. Foust, 91, of 1 Piatt St., Montgomery, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born March 9, 1924 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Naomi (Stiger) Chrisman. In 1946 she married Harold E. "Lefty" Foust, who preceded her in death March 24, 1987.

Edna was a 1942 graduate of South Williamsport High School.  She retired after many years working in the knitting department for the former Montgomery Mills.

She was a member of Clinton Baptist Church, Montgomery.

Edna loved playing cards, especially pinochle and solitaire.  She was also a member of the Montgomery and Muncy Senior Citizen's.

Surviving are one son, Ronald Foust, and one daughter, Pat Foust, both of Montgomery; one sister, Donna Hall, of Montoursville; six grandchildren, Debra, Michelle, Chris, Michael, Kelly and Brett; and 10 great-grandchildren, Ariel, Kayla, River, Forrest, Kasey, Trae, Addison, Damian, Devan and Case.

 In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one sister, Ruth Moran; and one brother-in-law, Ernest "Pete" Hall.

Friends will be received from Noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Clinton Baptist Church, 19 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. David Jacobs, officiating.

Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren St., Montgomery, PA 17752.
