Domenica Mae Sanguedolce

Domenica “Mae” Sanguedolce, 92, of Muncy, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born October 12, 1924 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Madelena (Torrogrosso) Ristuccia. She and her husband, Sebastian “Ben” Sanguedolce, celebrated 63 years of marriage before his death Jan. 5, 2007.

Mae worked as an executive assistant at Bucilla, Long Island, NY.

She was of Roman Catholic faith and recently attended St. James Episcopal Church, Muncy, with her family.

Mae enjoyed knitting and shopping.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, S. Ben Sanguedolce, of Wallkill, NY and Thomas R. and Patty Sanguedolce, of Muncy; seven grandchildren, Dawn Sanguedolce, Nicholas Zazzi, Anthony Zazzi, Elizabeth Hill, Renee Mcnally, Sebastian Sanguedolce III, and Tanya Rae Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph, Ava and Jackson.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Thomas Sanguedolce.

A graveside service will be held in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY,  on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1 p.m.
