Beverly W. Stroup

Beverly W. Stroup, 96, of Montoursville, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at Valley View Nursing Home, Montoursville.

Born September 28, 1921 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late William Charles and Lois (Wright) Reeder. On April 4, 1942 she married Willard M. Stroup, who preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1989.

Beverly attended Montoursville High School.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing jig saw puzzles and spending time with her family. Beverly was an avid Steelers fan and loved watching them play.

Surviving are two sons, Willard D. Stroup, of Williamsport and William C. Stroup and his wife, Becky, of Carlisle; four daughters, Sharon E. Wilson and her husband, Charles, of Supply, NC, Norma J. Kranzel and her companion, Bruce, of Montoursville, Janice E. Steele and her husband, Richard, of Watsontown and Robin A. Campbell and her husband, Dean, of Milton, DE; and 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Jack Reeder and a sister, Gladys Miller.

Services were held privately. Burial was in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
