Bernard L. Miller

Bernard L. Miller, 77, of Muncy, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home.

Born May 29, 1939 in Pennsdale, he was a son of the late Lewis H. and Helen J. (Egli) Miller. On April 10, 1959  he married the former Clara J. Schaeffer, who survives. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Bernard attended Montoursville high school . He was a former employee of G. F. Springman & Son and the Montoursville Area School District maintenance department.

He enjoyed rebuilding cars, working on home projects, riding his 4-wheelers in the woods and hunting deer. Bernard formerly helped coach Montoursville Little League.

He was a member of  The Church of the Good Shepherd, Montoursville.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Kari C. Miller-Willis, of Beacon, NY; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph P. and Annette Miller, of Montoursville and Kenneth W. Miller, of Natrona Heights, PA; five grandchildren, Ryan P. Miller, Shaquan M. Willis, Robbie A. Miller, Jyair A. Willis and Rachel R. Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, David C. Miller; a son, Michael L. Miller in 1984; and a granddaughter, Katie E. Miller in 2005.

In keeping with Bernard’s wishes, there will be no viewing and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Bernard’s name to The Church of the Good Shepherd, 827 Good Shepherd Rd., Montoursville, PA 17754.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
